ITINERARY
From the moment you purchase the tour, you have access to a guided tour of the meteorite museum, where you can interact with real meteorites collected throughout the Atacama Desert. These rocks are cosmic in origin and chronicle the formation of our solar system. However, if you don’t visit the museum, we take the best exhibits to the observatory so you can continue interacting with meteorites and complete your experience.
The Meteorite Museum is open Tuesday through Sunday for those taking the astronomical tour at 8:00 PM.
Our transportation departs from the meteorite museum to Cucuter Alley. At the end of the tour, passengers are returned to their hotels (provided they are within the city limits).
We use Evscope telescopes. This technology allows you to have an experience 100 times sharper than with a high-end telescope, allowing you to see deep-sky objects in color.
