Then we will start our trip to the town of Mollepata, where we can have breakfast and use the toilets, then continue our trip by car to Soraypampa (3900msnm). From here we start our hike to the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ericadventures.com\/machupicchu\/cusco-peru-trekking\/salkantay-trek-humantay-lake.html\">Humantay<\/a>&nbsp;lake &nbsp;located at 4200 masl \/ 13779 ft. After the ascent for 1 hour and 30 minutes approximately we can appreciate this wonderful place, visit the lagoon for about 2 hours and return to Soraypampa to have lunch and rest, after having rested we will go to our camp located in Soyrococha, where we will spend the night and we will enjoy a spectacular view of the imposing Salkantay, one of the highest in the department of Cusco, we will also have the privilege of seeing a starry sky and the majestic Milky Way. Around 6:30 pm we will enjoy our dinner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-day-2-soyrococha-abra-salkantay-salkantay-lagoon-soyrococha-soraypampa-cusco\">DAY 2: SOYROCOCHA &#8211; ABRA SALKANTAY &#8211; SALKANTAY LAGOON &#8211; SOYROCOCHA &#8211; SORAYPAMPA &#8211; CUSCO<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>After a good breakfast we will start our hike &nbsp;towards the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ericadventures.com\/machupicchu\/cusco-peru-trekking\/salkantay-trek-5-days.html\">Salkantay<\/a>&nbsp;pass at 4650 masl \/ 15255 ft. From this place we will have beautiful views of the landscape, we will continue our trek to the Salkantay lagoon where we will make a visit of approximately 1 hour and then return to Soraypampa where we will enjoy our lunch.
