Whitewater Rafting – Inca Trail Machu Picchu<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This is the best way to have a great fun in Peru<\/strong>, combining the great Inca Trail and Rafting Apurimac<\/strong> River and running the head Amazon Water River known as the Apurimac River<\/strong>, you can enjoy this fantastic trip in magic 10 days, where you can visit the City of Cusco<\/strong> and it\u2019s important places, have a nice adventure trip and fun knowing the Magic Inca Trail to Machu Picchu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ITINERARY<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Day 1: LIMA<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

As soon as you will land in Peru<\/strong> our staff will pick you up from the airport and then you will have an accommodation in Lima, depending of the time you will have a chance to  enjoy the peruvian food<\/strong>, we can take you to one of the restaurants where you can try the ceviche or taste Aji de Gallina.

Day 2: LIMA – CUSCO<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

After breakfast our staff will pick you up from the hotel in order to go to the airport to take the flight from Lima to Cusco<\/strong>, it takes 1 Hr. and 20 minutes, once at your arrival we will be waiting for you at the airport we will give a nice introduce of the City in your way to the Hotel, we recommend you to rest this day in order to acclimatize to the 3,350 mts. 10990 Ft, will be better to have a lot of Coca Tea<\/strong> and drink lots of Water.

Day 3: CUSCO – APURIMAC RIVER<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We will pick you up At 07:00 AM we head out to the Huallpachaca Bridge<\/strong> at an altitude of 2000 masl, about 5 hours south east from Cusco<\/strong> crossing the cordillera. Once in the canyon, we\u2019ll have lunch, after it, our guides will give us the safety instructions about our Apurimac Rafting<\/strong> trip, this will be followed by a demonstration of the equipment. Then, we\u2019ll have also a basic Rescue Course for this kind of white water river rafting<\/strong> tour. We will raft for 1 hour in Class II and III rapids. Then we will set up the Tents and camp in one of the beautiful beaches<\/strong> of the Apurimac river, later we\u2019ll have lunch and then we\u2019ll rest for the evening close a nice camp fire. Campsite<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day 4: APURIMAC RIVER<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

After a healthy breakfast we\u2019ll pack up the camp, and put our entire luggage back to the rafts, then we\u2019ll begin to do rafting down the Apurimac<\/strong>, running Class III and IV rapids, stopping only for lunch. We may also walk some dangerous Class VI Rapids in the Apurimac River<\/strong>(that are impossible to run), in the afternoon we\u2019ll arrive to our campsite, we\u2019ll do some river rafting games before lunch, then we\u2019ll be around a nice camp fire talking about the past journey and planning the next journey too. Campsite<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day 5: APURIMAC RIVER – CUSCO<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

After a healthy breakfast We will start our Apurimac river rafting<\/strong> tour down some Class III, IV and V rapids<\/strong>, this day we\u2019ll pass the famous rapids of: Labyrinth, Toothache, You First, Babalua and Last Laugh. After 5 hours we will end ourPeru River Rafting Apurimac Tour<\/strong> close the Kunyac bridge, there we will have lunch and then we will return to Cusco<\/strong>, arriving there at around 6:00 PM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day 6: CUSCO – INCA TRAIL<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

At six in the morning, We pick up our passengers at their hotels and travel by bus to Chilca<\/strong> where we will pick up the porters and the cook. Then we will travel to Km 82, the start of the Inca Trail to Machupicchu. We start our trek escorted by native Quechua porters and will travel through the semi-arid terrain along the Urubamba river with magnificent views of snow capped Mount Veronica (5,682 masl)<\/strong>. We walk past the Inca Hamlet of Huayllabamba<\/strong>, and camp at Huayllabamba, an ancient Inca citadel that protected the entrance to two valleys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day 7: PACAYMAYO<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We will begin to climb the first pass, Warmiwausca (4,200 m. alt.)<\/strong>, where there is a spectacular view of the valley below. At this pass we move from the dry puna ecology to elf forest, the highest of the tropical forest types where gnarled trees grow to two meters amid frog and low clouds, and a habitat of orchids and strange animals<\/strong>. On this night, we will camp along the river Pacamayo at the bottom of the pass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day 8: WI\u00d1AYHUAYNA<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

After breakfast, we will hike towards Runku Rakay<\/strong> and traverse the second pass of the same name (3,800 masl). We will descend to Sayamarca, an important archaeological complex<\/strong> in Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, where we will have lunch. We will spend the third and final night near the ruins of Wi\u00f1ayhuayna<\/strong>, which means City above the Clouds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day 9: MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We will rise very early so that we may watch the sunrise from Inti Punku<\/strong> and have our first breathtaking view of Machu Picchu. We will spend one to two hours in Machu Picchu, where the guide will explain the significance of important sites within the Lost City of the Incas<\/strong>, and that will be the finish the famous Inca trail<\/strong> to Machu Picchu. In the afternoon, we will take the train from Aguas Calientes<\/strong> to Cusco, arriving at approximately 8:30 PM.

Day 10: CUSCO<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This day we will have a rest in Cusco<\/strong> we can chose between to have nice Massage Session in your room with aromatic smells and have a relaxing day or maybe we can have a nice city tour visiting the most important place of Cusco, like Cathedral, the temple of the Sun, and the four Archeological sites<\/strong> that are surrounding Cusco<\/strong>.

Day 11: Cusco – Lima<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Depending of the Flight Hour our staff will pick you up from the Hotel in order to go to the Airport to take the flight back to Lima end of our service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Important:<\/strong> The Inca Trail <\/strong>is able only for 500 people per day, we ask you to take your preventions in order to book this trip in advance, or maybe you can swish it with one of our options like the Inca Jungle Trail<\/strong> by 4 Days or theSalKantay<\/strong> Trek by 5 Days, please ask for those options if the Inca Trail <\/strong>won\u2019t be able. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
