Enjoy this wonderful adventure in two wheels crossing these two wonderful frontiers and enjoying the Peruvian culture even more, marvel at one of the most amazing places in Peru, Machu Picchu. This route is for adventurers who want to make cultural excursions and at the same time enjoy the outdoors. It will be 9 days of a lot of adrenaline touring Puerto Maldonado, Cusco, Puno and Rio Branco.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ITINERARY<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

DAY 1: R\u00cdO BRANCO – PUERTO MALDONADO<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We will start this great adventure in Rio Branco, a state of Brazil from here is where we will travel and share a few days full of adventure and culture. Our first stop will be the city of Puerto Maldonado. Accommodation in Puerto Maldonado<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DAY 2: PUERTO MALDONADO – PUNO<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We will have a long day of travel, we will travel more than 600 km. We will leave very early in the morning and we will be arriving during the night to Puno. Accommodation in Puno.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DAY 3: PUNO – SICUANI<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

During the morning we will have a visit to the Uros Island on Lake Titicaca, this tour will last approximately 3 hours. We will begin touring the community where we can observe their people, their customs and lifestyle. Presumably, this place has been inhabited for hundreds of years and they came here protecting themselves from the Collas and Incas tribes, who threatened this community frequently. During this visit, we will appreciate a particular world, where the ingenuity of Men of Water is noted with the constructions of the islands, their cabins and boats based on a water plant, we can also visit schools, native families and craft shops . After the tour, we return to Puno, arriving approximately at 12:30 hrs. After enjoying our lunch we will continue with our trip to Sicuani, on the way we can observe wonderful landscapes characteristic of the Andean highlands. We will arrive in Sicuani at approximately 17:00 p.m.

DAY 4: SICUANI – MACHU PICCHU<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

One more day of adventure. We continue our trip through the Peruvian Andes, today’s route will be approximately 340 KM which includes some 40 KM of track. By averaging 13:00 hours we will be arriving at the town of Santa Teresa where we can have lunch and then continue for 30 more minutes to the Machu Picchu hydroelectric power station, this is where we will leave the motorcycles in a garage. From here we will continue on a tourist train to the town of Aguas Calientes where we will spend the night in a hotel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DAY 5: MACHU PICCHU – SANTA TERESA<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Early in the morning we will board the bus that will take us to the citadel of Machu Picchu, here our cultural guide will give us a tour of approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes through the most important places of this wonder. After the tour, we will board the return bus to the town of Aguas Calientes where we can have lunch. After lunch we can board the return train to the Hydroelectric where we will pick up our motorcycles, drive for about 30 minutes to the thermal baths of Cocalmayo where we will relax for a couple of hours. Tonight we will rest in Santa Teresa<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DAY 6: SANTA TERESA – CUSCO<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Early in the morning we will go to Cusco, on the route we will visit the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo, Pisa and the handicraft market of Pisaq. We will be arriving in Cusco, at approximately 17:00 PM Accommodation in Cusco<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DAY 7: CUSCO<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We will have a brief tour of Chinchero, Moray and the salt mines of Maras, during the afternoon we can take a tour of the city center and do some shopping. Accommodation in Cusco<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DAY 8: CUSCO – PUERTO MALDONADO<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

On this day back to Puerto Maldonado we will make some stops in the places of interest and enjoy the landscapes, we will observe how the vegetation changes from sierra to jungle. We will be arriving in Puerto Maldonado at approximately 6:00 p.m. Accommodation in Puerto Maldonado<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DAY 9: PUERTO MALDONADO – RIO BRANCO<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

On this last day we will drive back to Rio Branco, where we will return the motorcycles. End of our services!!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
