Ecological Tour in the Peruvian Amazonian Jungle<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Enjoy this ecological travel to natural areas passing through the virgin forest into the jungle to reach LOST COCHA<\/strong>, during the trip we will see the incredible biodiversity and wildlife of the amazonian jungle.
Also we will visit the monkey island<\/strong>, a unique place at the heart of the Madre de Dios River.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ITINERARY<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

DAY 01: COCHA CAIMAN<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We’ll arrive in Puerto Maldonado, Peru’s capital of biodiversity. Following pickup at the airport, our trip begins with a tour of the city by private bus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We’ll continue to Capitan\u00eda, a small river port, where we’ll board a motorized boat to cross the Madre de Dios River. As the trip progresses, we’ll become immersed in the natural surroundings<\/strong> of the jungle while observing the ronsoco, caimans, turtles, herons, cormorants<\/strong> and other animal species.
We’ll arrive at the Lodge and enjoy an exquisite welcome drink<\/strong>. Then, we’ll settle into our bungalows and have lunch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the afternoon we will visit the \u201cCOCHA CAIMAN\u201d<\/strong>, a small lake where you will have the possibility to admire white and black caimans<\/strong>, that live here thanks to the abundant fauna characterizing the lake. In the late afternoon, you will see the sunset, before to return to the lodge to end the day with a pleasant dinner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DAY 02:LAKE APU VICTOR AND MONKEYS ISLAND<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We’ll wake up to the delightful song of birds in the surrounding canopy. After breakfast, we’ll start our excursion with a walk deep into the jungle, making our way along specially prepared paths and canyon bridges. During our walk, we’ll see Caimans’, we continue along, we’ll arrive at majestic LAKE APU VICTOR<\/strong>, with its crystal clear waters<\/strong>, surrounding jungle marshes, and giant tree species. Further along the way, we’ll ascend to an observation point that opens up a spectacular panorama over the lake. We’ll observe parrots, guacamayos (aras), tucans, camungo, shanshos<\/strong>, herons and other animals such as caimans, turtles<\/strong>. If we’re lucky, we may even glimpse the giant otter, the jungle’s most impressive animal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, we’ll settle into our bungalows and have lunch. In the afternoon, accompanied by our specialized guide<\/strong>, we’ll visit MONKEY ISLAND<\/strong>, a unique place at the heart of the Madre de Dios River just 5 minutes from the lodge. Along the way, we’ll take in the extraordinary landscapes and exuberant flora<\/strong> that are home to a variety of monkey species. These monkey species include maquisapas, capuchins, lion monkeys, puffins and cotos, along with other animal species like the coati, sloth, and a great diversity of birds. We’ll complete our visit of the island while enjoying the sunset the most impressive moment of any day in the jungle. Then, we’ll return to the lodge to end the day with a pleasant dinner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
