Along its 100 kilometers (62 miles), it is home to a great diversity of wildlife.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The undisputed protagonist of this ecosystem is the <strong>Andean Condor<\/strong>, the heaviest and largest flying bird in the world, which you will have the opportunity to observe in its natural habitat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-itinerary\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">ITINERARY<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>DAY 1: PUNO &#8211; COLCA VALLEY<br><\/strong>At 6:00 to 6:30 a.m., we will pick up passengers from their hotels to begin the journey to Chivay. During the journey, we will pass through the Lagunillas area, where abundant Andean wildlife can be observed. We will stop in Patahuasi to enjoy coca tea and use the restrooms. We will continue to Chivay, stopping at Patapampa, the highest point (4,910 meters above sea level), from where you can see the Ampato, Sabancaya, and Misti volcanoes. We will arrive in Chivay around 1:00 p.m. Transfer and accommodation at your hotels.<br>In the afternoon, we will optionally visit the hot springs and medicinal baths.<br>Overnight in Chivay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>DAY 2: CHIVAY \/ CRUZ DEL C\u00d3NDOR \/ CHIVAY \/ AREQUIPA<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After breakfast, at 6:15 am, we will visit the Cruz del C\u00f3ndor viewpoint for approximately 2 hours, where we can appreciate the depth of the Colca Canyon and enjoy the flight of the Andean Condor. If your hotel is outside of Chivay, you can visit the hot springs after lunch and then make your own way back to your accommodation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Is there a surcharge for transfers to hotels outside of Chivay (Yanque, Coporaque, etc.)?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Yes.
