We&#8217;ll enjoy the ecosystem and magnificent views of the Salkantay peak, located 6,264 meters above sea level and considered one of the most iconic mountains in the Vicalbamba mountain range. We will make a short stop and continue to the camp in Soraypampa, located at approximately 3900 meters above sea level. From this point, we will begin the hike through an impressive and spectacular valley, surrounded by snow-capped mountains such as Humantay and Salkantay. On the tour, we&#8217;ll come across Humantay Lagoon, where we&#8217;ll delight in its natural beauty. If you&#8217;re in good physical condition, you can continue ascending the Salkantay Pampa mountain, where you&#8217;ll have a view of the spectacular snow-capped Salkantay Mountain. It is easier to walk back to your hotel than take the bus, as traffic is terrible.
