Dress in layers: warm clothing for the early morning, light and breathable clothing for midday, and a windproof or waterproof jacket for the afternoon.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>High Altitude Sun Protection: Due to the altitude, UV radiation is very strong. Sunscreen (SPF 50+), UV-protective sunglasses, and a wide-brimmed hat or cap are essential.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ergonomic Footwear: Trekking shoes or athletic shoes with good traction. You will be walking on uneven surfaces and rocky paths on Isla del Sol, which require stability.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cash and Local Currency: Bolivianos (BOB) and Soles (PEN) in small denominations.
