THE BIGGEST SALT PLAINS OF THE WORLD<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

One of the most wonderful regions in Bolivia<\/strong><\/a>.
Nominated as the “marvel number 1” by international magazines.
The perfect place to enjoy evenings and surrealist landscapes<\/strong>.
Enjoy thermal waters, views of the geysers<\/strong>, and other volcanic activity. Home to flocks of pink flamingos. Colourful lagoons.
South of Bolivia<\/strong><\/a>, we find out one of the marvels created by the nature, its formation took place after the drying of an immense lake that existed some million years ago in the high plateau, the unique salt plains<\/strong>, with more than 10.000 square kilometres, was nominated as the \u201cMarvel number 1\u201d by international magazines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ITINERARY<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

DAY 1: LA PAZ – UYUNI<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Transfer from your hotel(down town of La Paz) to the bus station. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bus night Uyuni\/ La Paz (10-11 hour trip).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DAY 2: UYUNI \u2013 UYUNI SALT FLATS \u2013 COLCHA K<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Arrive to  the bus station in Uyuni and transfer to our office<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We begin our adventure at 10:30 AM from our agency. Our first stop will be the nostalgic Train Cemetery, followed by the town of Colchani, where you’ll learn about the salt extraction process firsthand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once inside the majestic salt flats, we’ll have lunch at the famous Playa Blanca Salt Museum, surrounded by flags from all over the world. We’ll explore Incahuasi Island with its ancient cacti and, of course, have a photo session taking advantage of the salt flats’ unique perspective. Weather permitting, we’ll end the day with an unforgettable sunset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DAY 3: COLCHA K \u2013 VOLCANOES, COLORFUL LAGOONS \u2013 HUAYLLAJARA<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Our adventure begins early, at 7:30 AM, departing from the Cruz Andina Salt Hotel. The route will take us across the Chiguana Salt Flats and offer us privileged views of the Ollag\u00fce Volcano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As we travel south, we’ll stop at the jewels of the Altiplano: the Ca\u00f1apa, Hedionda, and Chiarkota lagoons. In this unique natural setting, we’ll enjoy lunch while observing the elegance of the flamingos up close. We’ll cross the Siloli Desert to encounter the Stone Tree, before arriving at one of the most anticipated spots: Laguna Colorada, famous for its vibrant reddish hues and biodiversity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, we’ll head to the town of Huayllajara to rest at the Hostal San Bernardo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DAY 4: HUAYLLAJARA \u2013 GEYSERS, HOT SPRINGS \u2013 RETURN TO UYUNI \/ LA PAZ<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Our final day begins at 5:00 a.m. to enjoy the sunrise at the Sol de Ma\u00f1ana Geysers. After this visit, we’ll go to the Polques Hot Springs, where you can soak in the healing waters at 37\u00b0C. We’ll continue crossing the Dal\u00ed Desert until we reach the impressive Laguna Verde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We’ll return and have lunch in Villa Mar, then visit the rock formations of the Valley of Rocks, ending with a stop at the historic colonial church of San Crist\u00f3bal. We’ll be back in Uyuni at approximately 5:30 PM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
