The Condor Canyon is a place where we can locate the Andean condor, called the sacred bird of the Incas, This place offers visitors the majestic flight of the condor in its natural habitat and the impressive Apur\u00edmac Canyon with more than 1500 meters depth, is the home of the condors where they sleep and nest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ITINERARY<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

CUSCO \u2013 QUILLARUMIYOC \u2013 TARAWASI \u2013 CA\u00d1\u00d3N DEL C\u00d3NDOR \u2013 CUSCO. (8:30 AM TO 19:00)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

8:30 AM pick up from your hotel, then we will travel along the Cusco-Limatambo route on an asphalted road for approximately 2 hours, along this trip we will visit 2 important archaeological sites such as KILARUMIYOC (Temple of the Moon and Fertility), TARAWASI (Tambo Inca) that with the help of our professional guide, we will learn a little more about the Inca culture and the activity of the current man, continuing our journey along the very well paved track to the (Huayronca bridge) from where we will take a route not asphalted until the community of Chonta, this trip will be ascent to 3450 meters above sea level. During this trip, we will stop at some key points to take photos of the Salkantay snow and Limatambo Valley, we will arrive at the town of Chonta between 12:30 pm where we will enjoy our delicious lunch observing the Salkantay snow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later we will start our walk of 1 hour and 30 minutes by a wide path to the viewpoint of the Condor Canyon 3350 Masl, From this point, we will have the opportunity to witness the impressive Andean condor in its natural habitat, we will be located in the viewpoint and we wait that the condors arrive after their daily activities, This wait will not be for long since the condors usually return in the afternoon between 3:00 pm to their nests, Here you will have a very good opportunity to see and photograph the condors from very close and for an average of 2 hours more flying in front of you that sometimes you can see the condor fly less than 20 meters away from you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After seeing the condor we will return walking to the village of Chonta and then by car to the city of Cusco. It arrives at approximately 8:00 p.m. end of the tour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
