The trip begins with pick-up in Calama, Chile, for the journey to the city of Uyuni, Bolivia. Daily departures.
ITINERARY
Departure from Calama: We begin the journey in a Chilean vehicle heading northeast towards the Andes Mountains for approximately 2 hours and 50 minutes.
Arrival at Ollagüe (Border): Arrival at the border crossing in the Altiplano. At this point, we will complete the immigration procedures for leaving Chile and entering Bolivia.
Note: These procedures may take between 1 and 2 hours, depending on the flow of people at the Bolivian and Chilean customs offices.
Vehicle Transfer: At the Ollagüe border crossing, we will change vehicles. We will leave the Chilean vehicle to continue the journey in a duly authorized Bolivian vehicle.
Final Leg: We will continue our journey through the Bolivian high Andean landscapes for approximately 3 to 4 more hours.
Arrival in Uyuni: Estimated arrival time in the city of Uyuni, depending on road conditions and the efficiency of border controls..
