Archaeological Fortress – Chachapoyas
This Kuelap fortress is the largest stone structure of South America. It contains more than 450 stone houses and is filled with a million plants, bromeliads and orchids on a cloud forest, remains relatively unknown in this remote zone.
ITINERARY
Day 1
Departure 8:00 a.m. output; Return 5pm.
Departure to Kuelap, on the way the archaeological complex of Macro will be observed, then reach the fortified citadel Kuelap considered one of the seven wonders of Peru, guided tour (approx. 3 hours).
Lunch and return to Chachapoyas.
