AREQUIPA COLCA CANYON 1 DAY TOUR ENDING IN PUNO

This tour is designed to optimize your itinerary and allow you to explore two iconic Peruvian destinations. We’ll depart from Arequipa for the Colca Canyon to observe the Andean Condor in its natural habitat. Instead of returning to the city, our itinerary will take you directly to Puno (3,855 meters above sea level), the gateway to Lake Titicaca and a key connection point with Bolivia. Optimize your route without missing the natural wonders of southern Peru.

ITINERARY

DAY 01 – AREQUIPA / CHIVAY / PUNO

3:00 am Departure,Pick-up at your hotel and travel via Yura to the Colca Valley. We will stop in Chivay for a traditional breakfast.

8:30 am Cruz del Cóndor, Arrival at the main viewpoint to contemplate the immensity of one of the deepest canyons in the world and the majestic flight of the condor in its natural habitat.
On the return trip, we will explore the colonial towns of Maca and Yanque. We will stop at the Antahuilque and Peña Blanca viewpoints to admire the impressive pre-Inca terracing that still adorns the valley.

12:00 pm Lunch in Chivay: Return to the town to enjoy the local cuisine before departing for the Altiplano.

1:00 pm Transfer to Puno, Direct trip with a stop at Las Lagunillas, where we will appreciate the high Andean lakes and various migratory birds. 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM Arrival in Puno. End of our services.

Number of passengers per group: approximately 13.
It is important that guests check out of their hotels and take all their luggage with them, we won’t return to the city of Arequipa.
Each passenger is allowed to carry one piece of luggage weighing up to 20 kg.
Pick-up or drop-off at the port of Puno incurs an additional cost of US$10 per passenger.
In our shared services, we will pick-up our clients from your hotel as long as it is located in the downtown.
In our shared services, at the end of the tour, we leave our clients in a place close to the Main Square, because is easier go walking instead the car.. If your hotel is far from the downtown, take some cash with you in order to take a taxi.
Pick-up and drop off times are referential, this will depend on the traffic that can be found in the streets or delay of the other clients, our assistant will be on time but sometimes the transport could delay a few minutes.
