ITINERARY

DAY 01: ARRIVAL IN PERU/LIMA’S CITY TOUR

Arrival to Lima,Transfer you to your hotel in Lima

Accommodations at Ferre Hotel in Miraflores

14:00pm: Guided tour of the tourist attractions in Lima: the Monastery of San Francisco and the Catacombs, we will also pass by the Plaza Mayo, the Government Palace, the Archbishop’s Palace, the Cathedral, and the City Hall of Lima

18pm, back to the hotel

DAY 02: LIMA – PARACAS (VISIT TO THE BALLESTAS ISLANDS) – NAZCA

3am transfer to the bus station

4am: Bus Lima to Paracas

8am, once in Paracas, we’ll leave our luggage in the ofice, and we’ll do the Ballestas island Tour for 1 hour and 30 minutes

12:00pm transfer to the bus station to take our to Ica

14:00pm, in Ica, we’ll have our buggies and sand boarding tour

16:00pm transfer back to the bus station

17:00pm Bus Ica/Nazca

21:00pm, Once in Nazca, transfer to the Alegria hotel

9:00am Fly over the enigmatic Nazca Lines

DAY 5: AREQUIPA – COLCA

7am, trip to the Colca Canyon, passing Aguada Blanca National Reserve and Salinas

1pm arrival to Chivay baths of La Calera.

DAY 6: COLCA – PUNO

7:30am, After breakfast, visit the Cruz del Cóndor viewpoint, where we can appreciate the depth of the Colca Canyon and enjoy the flight of the Andean Condor.

1:30pm trip to Puno

DAY 7: FLOATING ISLANDS OF UROS / AMANTANI ISLAND

6am transfer to the Puno’s port, boat trip to the Uros Floating Islands, where you will learn how the locals use “totora” reeds to build their homes and islands.

Then we’ll travel three hours by motorboat to Amantaní Island to meet your host family for the night. The afternoon includes a scenic hike to the Pachatata archaeological site to watch the sunset over Lake Titicaca. The day concludes with a traditional dinner and a folkloric celebration, where you can dress in local attire and dance with the community before returning to your homestay.

DAY 8: AMANTANI ISLAND / TAQUILE ISLAND / PUNO

Following breakfast with your host family, you will depart for Taquile Island, a destination world-renowned for its high-quality hand-woven textiles. Upon arrival, you will hike a scenic, inclined path—recommended at a slow pace due to the high altitude (3,900 meters)—to reach the island’s center.

Once at the main square, you will visit the local museum to learn about the community’s history and traditions through photography. After a local lunch and some free time to explore the island’s unique landscapes, you will board the boat for the return trip to Puno, arriving at approximately 3:30 PM.

DAY 9: PUNO – CUSCO

6:45am Transfer to the Puno’s bus station

7:30am trip by a Tourist bus from Puno to Cusco, visiting the most important places in the road: Pucará, La Raya, Raqchi, Andahuaylillas

17:30pm arrival to Cusco

DAY 10: CUSCO/SACRED VALLEY/AGUAS CALIENTES

8:00am tour to the Sacred Valley, we will visit: the artisan market and archaeological site of Pisac, we will enjoy a delicious lunch in the Sacred Valley and then we will continue with our visit to the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo

16:00pm passengers have to be at Ollantaytambo train station

16:30pm In Ollantaytambo we will take our train to Aguas Calientes

19:20pm once in Aguas Calientes, transfer to the hotel

DAY 11: MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO

6:00am, bus Aguas Calientes to Machupicchu

7:00am, in Machupicchu, we’ll have a guided tour

10am Bus Machupicchu to Aguas Calientes

Time for lunch(not included)

15:00pm passengers have to be at the Aguas Calientes train station

15:30pm we’ll take the Expedition train to Ollantaytambo

17:10pm in Ollantaytambo, transfer back to Cusco

19:00 arrival to Cusco, transfer to the hotel

DAY 12: CUSCO – CITY TOUR

Free morning

13:00pm, we’ll have the Cusco’s city tour, visiting: (Inca churches and monuments), such as: Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pucapucara and Tambomachay

17:30pm Back to Cusco, accommodations at hotel Raymi

DAY 13: CUSCO, MOUNTAIN OF COLORS

4:00am, we’ll have our full day tour to the Colorful Mountain of Vinicunca

6pm, back to Cusco

DAY 14: MARAS AND MORAY CULTURAL TOUR

8am, we’ll drive to Inca ruins of Moray, an agricultural laboratory comprising a set of circular concentric terraces, with each terrace replicating distinct microclimates

Then, we’ll visit Maras Salt Mines. Long ago the Inca diverted a small saltwater stream from the interior of Mt Qaqawiñay and channeled it through staggered terraces along its slopes which were carved into thousands of small pools, then we’ll return to Cusco, arriving at 1pm aproximately

DAY 15: CUSCO/HUMANTAY LAKE

5:30am, we’ll begin our tour to the Salkantay lake, located at the Vicalbamba mountain range, we’ll have really nice views of the Andes

DAY 16: CUSCO/PUERTO MALDONADO/ECO AMAZONIA LODGE

9:30am transfer to the Cusco’s airport

11:50am Flight Cusco/Puerto Maldonado

12:45am in Puerto Maldonado, small city tour

13:30pm Transfer to the Port

14:00pm Trip by motorboat to the Eco Amazonia Lodge

Once in the lodge, accommodations

15:00pm Cocha Caiman Tour, is a small lake where you will have the possibility to admire white and black caimans, that live here thanks to the abundant fauna

17:30pm Back to the hotel

DAY 17: ECO AMAZONIA LODGE

8:30am Lake Apu Victor tour, We’ll observe parrots, guacamayos (aras), tucans, camungo, shanshos, herons and other animals such as caimans, turtles.

15:00pm Monkey island tour, These monkey species include maquisapas, capuchins, lion monkeys, puffins and cotos, along with other animal species like the coati, sloth, and a great diversity of birds.

17:00pm, back to the hotel, accommodations

DAY 18: ECO AMAZONIA LODGE

9:00am, we’ll visit the Lost Lake(Cocha Perdida) we’ll have the opportunity to observe otters, caimans, turtles, sachavacas, birds of every color, the majestic jaguar and a variety of fish, after lunch, we offer an optional visit to the botanical gardens
