3D Uyuni Salt Flats Tour From San Pedro De Atacama (private)

This is an excellent itinerary for travelers who want to go from Chile to Bolivia, knowing San Pedro de Atacama and the Salar de Uyuni, we opted for a premiun service, and want to travel from San Pedro de Atacama to Uyuni , the tour takes place in semi private service, with hotels in double rooms and private bathroom.

ITINERARY

Day 1: San Pedro de Atacama – Altiplano Lagoons – Uyuni

6:00 am Pick-up from your hotel in San Pedro de Atacama and transfer by minibus to the Hito Cajones border crossing.

Approximately 8:30 am Immigration formalities at the Chilean and Bolivian customs offices. Transfer to a 4×4 vehicle for the route in Uyuni.

We will explore the Bolivian Altiplano, visiting Laguna Blanca and Laguna Verde, located at the foot of the Licancabur volcano. Continue to the Polques Hot Springs to enjoy a soak in the thermal waters (35°C).

We will visit the Sol de Mañana geysers, a spectacular display of fumaroles and boiling mud, followed by the iconic Laguna Colorada, a major nesting site for flamingos.

Travel to the town of Uyuni, accommodation at the Kachi Salt Hotel.

Day 2: Salt Hotel – Uyuni Salt Flats

10:00 am Departure from the hotel to begin the tour of the salt flats. We will visit the Train Cemetery, the Salt Museum, and the Dakar Monument, next to the Plaza de las Banderas (Plaza of the Flags). At midday, transfer to the heart of the salt flats for a creative and perspective photo session.

Later, exploration of Incahuasi Island, a unique ecosystem with giant cacti and limestone formations that offer a 360° view of the salt flats.

Sunset and a toast with a glass of wine and appetizers while enjoying the sunset over the salt mirror.

7:00 pm: Return to Uyuni and overnight stay at the Kachi Salt Hotel.

Day 3: Salt Hotel – Return to San Pedro de Atacama

8:00 AM: Start of the return trip to the border. We will visit the volcanic formations of Italia Perdida (a labyrinth of giant rocks) and Laguna Vinto, where we will observe flamingos in their natural habitat.

In the afternoon, we will complete our departure formalities at Bolivian customs and transfer to a minibus at the border.

5:00 PM: Arrival in San Pedro de Atacama, Chile. End of our services!
