ITINERARY

DAY 1: Lima – Chimbote – Duck Canyon – Caraz (550 km – approx. 10 hours)

This iconic route, famous among motorcyclists and adventure lovers, crosses more than 35 tunnels carved into the living rock. You will feel the majesty of nature at the exact point where the Cordillera Blanca and Cordillera Negra mountain ranges almost embrace, separated by a mere 5 meters.

DAY 2: Caraz – Laguna Paron – Punta Olimpica (optional) – Huaraz (226 km – approx. 6 hours)

We will ascend to 4,185 meters above sea level to contemplate the largest lagoon in Huascarán National Park. Its intense turquoise color, originating from glacial sediments, will take your breath away. A picture-postcard setting surrounded by the most emblematic snow-capped peaks of the Andes, such as the famous Artesonraju, Paria, Pisco, and the Pyramid of Garcilaso.

DAY 3: Huaraz – Laguna Rocotuyoc – Huaraz (93 km – approx. 3 hours)

If you are looking for peace and quiet, this glacial gem in the highlands of Carhuaz is ideal for you. As a less crowded destination surrounded by mystical tranquility, it offers a landscape dominated by imposing mountains, Andean grasslands, and an absolute silence that invites contemplation.

DAY 4: Huaraz – Conococha – Lima (400 km – approx. 7 hours)

Defy gravity on this legendary high-mountain pass within Huascarán National Park, reaching over 4,700 meters above sea level. Here you will travel along one of the highest paved points in Peru and cross the Punta Olímpica Tunnel, proudly recognized as the highest trans-Andean tunnel in the world.
