Cusco City Tour in Archaelogical Sites

Strolls in Cusco City, Cusco was the Inca capital, however, when the conquerors arrived they changed the culture, traditions and architecture in the area. During the Cusco City Tour you can see these changes, while visiting the Spanish churches and the Inca archaeological sites such as: Sacsayhuaman, Tambomachay, Q’enqo y Pucapucara.

Itinerario

DAY 1 CUSCO – SACSAYHUAMAN

Duration: 5 hours (from 1pm to 6pm) 13:00 pm, we will pick up our clients from their hotels located in the center of Cusco, we will visit the following places:Cathedral of Cuzco or Basilica Cathedral of the Virgin of the Assumption: It is the most important religious monument in the center of the city of Cusco, seat of the Archdiocese of Cusco, it houses numerous paintings of the Cuzco school. Qoriikancha Temple: It was the most important temple during the Inca Empire, we will see the walls that still keep the Inca architecture, the appearance of this temple changed drastically with the Spanish colonization.Tambomachay (Rest Place in Quechua): This place was intended for the cult of water and also as a resting place for the Inca.Puka Pukara: Inca military construction, consisting of large walls, terraces and stairs…, intended for the defense of Cusco.Saksay Huaman (Alcón Satisfeito): Inca ceremonial temple, famous for its enigmatic walls built with remnants of granite rocks.Qenqo (Labyrinth): Important sanctuary of the Inca Empire, which has an amphitheater and underground galleries in the form of a labyrinth.

In the afternoon (18:00) we will return to the city of Cusco, we will leave our customers in a place close to the Plaza de Armas.

Reception Point: The reception service from the hotel applies only to establishments located within the city centre. If the hotel is located outside this area, it will assign you a central location.
Finalization of the Tour: The shared tours culminate in a strategic point looking at the Main Plaza. Due to vehicular congestion in the historic centre, returning to the hotel is usually the quickest and most comfortable option.
Hotels outside the centre: If the hotel is located in the central area, we recommend that you take out money effectively to cover the cost of private transport (taxi) from the final point of the tour.
Punctuality: Passengers must be listed at the indicated time and place. If you do not show up at the scheduled time, the service will be considered a No Show and the company will not assume responsibility or refunds.
Tour Identification: In the shared services, different agencies coincide in the hours and travel zones. Our customers must identify with us with their respective names and tours to carry out, otherwise they may have errors at the time of their receipt.
Staying with the group: Each passenger is responsible for staying with the group and following the instructions in the guide.
Tolerance: Our customers are obliged to stay together with the group, if for some reason they have to leave the group, it is their obligation to inform the guide, so that this is the customer’s experience, if this does not happen, it may affect the normal course of the tour and the entire group.
Responsibility for the return: If the passenger due to negligence leaves or separates from the group, any cost or logistical management to get to the group or return to the hotel/point of origin will be due to the cost and responsibility of the passenger.
