ITINERARY

DAY 01 IQUITOS / ECOLODGE (RNPS)

We will begin our adventure through the Peruvian jungle at the airport in the city of Iquitos, then we will move to the town of Nauta, the first town founded by the Spanish in the bank of the Marañón river; the trip lasts approximately 1.30 h. with a route of 97 km. DAY 02 PRIVATE RESERVE / NAUTA CAÑO – NACIONAL RESERVE PACAYA SAMIRIA

After breakfast. Interpretation walk of flora and fauna in our Private Reserve (restinga forest) following the route of primates and other animals. Here we will test our adventurous spirit through trails full of biodiversity. The guide will explain on the use of medicinal plants and trees.

DAY 03 FULL DAY PACAYA SAMIRIA NATIONAL RESERVE

After breakfast we start our second entry to the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve. We will navigate the Yanayacu river basin where the 20 de Enero Community is located; here we can learn about the work carried out by local residents organized in management groups natural resources to preserve the species of the RN, activities such as the scaling of aguaje and we will know their way of life.

DAY 04 COCHA SHIRIYACU / SAN JORGE COMMUNITY / IQUITOS

After breakfast, excursion by boat on the Marañón River to Cocha Shiriyacu (according to suitable season and conditions for fishing).
